HubSpot and Canva have announced a partnership that brings Canva’s design experience and its Magic Studio AI tools directly into HubSpot’s platform. The stated goal is to simplify the creation of visual content.
The integration lets teams design, collaborate and publish content without leaving the HubSpot portal. Access happens through a native button called “Design with Canva”.
How the integration works
Inside HubSpot’s content editor, a user can add an image to a social post, an ad, a page or an email. It is enough to click the upload icon and select “Design with Canva”.
After choosing a format, the user is taken to the Canva editor. On first use, a prompt asks the user to log in to an existing Canva account or to create a new one.
Once the design is complete, saving it makes it available within the workflow. In this way graphic creation and publishing happen without switching tabs or applications.
Features for teams
With the integration, teams can add Canva Pro Elements to their designs. It is also possible to comment on and share designs with colleagues.
Work created in HubSpot can also be found on the Canva homepage. This continuity aims to reduce steps between different tools and to support collaboration.
Creating on-brand content covers email templates, social posts and landing pages. The underlying idea is to connect the creative stage with the publishing stage in a single environment.
Availability and context
According to the official announcement, the integration between HubSpot and Canva is available globally and for free across all HubSpot hubs and tiers, provided the user has a Canva subscription.
Karen Ng, Senior Vice President of Product and Partnerships at HubSpot, described visual storytelling as one of the most powerful ways to communicate with customers. She noted that a single image can convey a great deal.
The context described concerns small and medium-sized businesses, often dealing with limited resources to stand out on visual platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. The partnership aims to make the production of professional content faster.
